Many people find that they are struggling to cook for just one, cook for the family, cook to special dietary requirements or just have never really cooked from scratch and don’t know where to start?
M’s Kitchen is a 5 session programme designed for just that!
I can show you anything from a curry to a roast dinner, a cake suitable for a diabetic, gluten free treats, healthy lunch boxes or easy budget family meals.
What does this involve?
An initial (up to two hours) consultation to work out you and / or your family’s needs, current diet, cultural influences, likes and dislikes. You can choose if you need help with breakfasts, lunches, snacks, dinners or any combination of all four.
I will reflect and create four recipe/meal options for you, including a main and a dessert or a starter and a main. This takes about a week. I will email the options to you and you can choose your favourites.
We book two sessions in which to cook up your chosen meals.
In advance of each cooking session I will have provided you with a complete shopping list and you need to have the ingredients, as well as basic cooking utensils ready for the session. If you have any problems with the shopping list don’t worry, I can advise or adapt. We can work in your kitchen or mine, whatever you prefer. You will keep the food from each session.
Recipes will all:
- be tailored to the number of people you are feeding in your household
- avoid food wastage
- have easy to find ingredients in local shops
- be adaptable for different tastes
- considerate of energy consumption if required
